I stayed in this hotel for 4 days and I liked it. Rooms are clean, with cold and warm water. The only problem if you stay it the last floor it can be a little bit noise because of monkeys on the trees. The staff are very friendly and attentive . The restaurant in the hotel is also good. The hotel is 5-10 minutes away from the beach. The wifi connection is poor in the last floor

Our first stop on a 14 day trip. Close to airport, friendly staff and great food, we had curried crab it was excellent. Our room had a balcony and we overlooked the sea. Nice clean beach too. Not to sure of the overweight Germans in their Bikini's, spoilt the view a bit!

Diyamba is sort of a home away from home kind of place. We love the laid back nature of this simple but very comfortable hotel. The beach is to die for. Could stay in the water for hours till sunset and feel very safe. We also like the dining and the common living area that accommodates 2 different groups for dining, while giving each privacy during meal time. The living area with colourful couches is quaint and tastefully done and feels comfortable for a quiet read, drink in the evening, family get together, or to just relax and lounge around. The food, without exception has been very tasty during every visit and we always got to experience something different concocted by the gracious owner Ramani or the chef. We have been to Diyamba many times and keep going back. It simply feels good to stay at Diyamba.

Room Tip: Bali type cabana is quaint and simple. The chalets give you more privacy. Standard rooms are ideal...

We stayed here at in the Ballroom for a couple of nights finishing off our Sri Lanka visit. This boutique hotel is amazing! Just lovely. The staff - especially the manager - was super friendly and accommodating and really treated us like royalty.
The grounds are amazing. Infinity pool and all. The decor...just spectacular with amazing taste. Of all the places we visited in Sri Lanka, Galle is definitely our favorite place. Great beaches and lots of places to walk around for a visit.
We had dinner at the sister hotel right across the street - The Sun House - which was just as amazing.
AND, to top it all off, we had a private island lunch on an island - Taprobane - which was too die for. Southern most place...private place all to ourselves.

Amaloh by Jetwing is truely one of the most extraordinary places we have ever had the privilidge to stay it is second to none from the wild life all around to the rather decedant opulence of the seating for dinner/lunch and the hidden whirlpool baths with the ability to kayak out to an island on the edge of the lagoon with its natural whirlpool bath to its stylish swimming and lounging pool the staff are amazing with the pool/Kayak guy who has the balance of professionalism and friendly understanding just right.
The rooms are just as imperssive as the rest of the setting as being very comfortable with a free standing outdoor bath tub to the out door beautiful shower

A must for those who appreciate the more splendid things in life 10/10

Had a great time staying at Cantaloupe Aqua , quiet and very spacious room (Aqua chic, got upgraded). Loved the sound of the waves and although sea was rough has great time swimming. Food in restaurant Coconut is very good, drinks pricey but that's the same across Sri Lanka. Not many places to walk to food-wise so eating at hotel is perfect. Very friendly and efficient staff, we took Safari tour to UdaWalahe and although long drive was unforgettable. Tuk yuk outside the hotel bit annoying but they are friendly too. Can fully recommend it.

We had a lovely stay here. Right across the road from the beach and all the surf schools. Beautiful clean pool despite it being very warm water. Average breakfast. Good location within walking distance from everything.

Taru Rock Villa, Bentota “A little piece of Heaven on the beautiful West coast”
What an amazing place to stay – a truly sublime experience!
A small family owned and managed Villa, including four delightful deluxe double rooms and a large adjoining family villa, all nestled in beautiful grounds, which are simply stunning, with swimming pool, restaurant and bar area.
The Villas are managed by Oshan, who is the perfect host and a mild mannered, serene gentleman, ably assisted by Nimal, a gentleman with great knowledge and wit, who takes care of the restaurant and bar with his offsider, Ruwan.
What a great team! All three made our stay an absolute delight.
The rooms are impeccable. Beautifully decorated, clean, very well maintained, with a comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. The attention to detail and interior design flows though whole Villa complex and is all done to a very high standard.
Without a doubt the highlight of the Villa is the restaurant area. Again, a lovely ambience by the pool and very well maintained, but the food is the star, it’s just amazing! A very varied menu with something for everyone, all the food is prepared to a very high standard and tastes wonderful.
We stayed for a week and were going to eat in a few different places along the beach, but the quality and price of the food offered at the Villa is second to none. We dined every night at the Villa and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Our stay at the Villa was to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday and as a treat the management and staff prepared us a special candlelit dinner on the gazebo in the garden, complete with a surprise birthday cake!
Taru Rock Villa is a delightful place to stay, with excellent staff and serving stunning food in a tranquil oasis.
Highly recommend definitely seems inadequate to describe a stay here. It is excellent!
