Cantaloupe Aqua is an ocean front boutique hote with a private beach that spans a few kilometers in both directions. Cantaloupe AQUA is located in Habaraduwa, Unawatuna; a bohemian sea-facing beach town that has recently become known for its numerous stylish boutique hotels and eclectic population. It is 5.5 km from the world famous Unawatuna bay and 10 km from the Galle Fort.
13 of the 16 rooms at AQUA have stunning beach views. It features two suites fully specified with every imaginable luxury including private Jacuzzis.
In addiCon AQUA features a world‐class fusion restaurant with emphasis on Sri Lankan and Thai cuisine. The outdoor lounge area features an LED lit mosaic Cled infinity Jacuzzi / pool featuring Amuseum pool bar to the leL and to the right plush sun beds, couches and chill out areas for a more relaxed Aqua experience.
ROOMS
AQUA rooms each have their own distinct character. Interiors have been designed in-house by Cantaloupe with a predominantly white palate combined with black highlights and vividly coloured pop art.
Aqua Aqua (AA)
AA rooms have been decked out to meet a very high standard of hospitality; what they lack in terms of a sea view they make up for in luxury living space. These rooms are extremely intimate and are ideal for a quixotic escape. Three rooms available.
Aqua Ocean Play Standart(AOP)
The eight AOP rooms feature stunning beach frontage. The ground floor rooms each have a lounge area and the second storey rooms above have private balconies. AOP rooms have luxurious King sized beds dressed in Egyptian cotton and custom made seating. Rooms also include WIFI Internet access; a 26-inch LCD TV with full cable channel access and a DVD player.
Aqua Ocean Play Deluxe (AOPD)
In addition to the standard room amenities, AOPD rooms are larger, support more lavish décor and are closer in proximity to the beach. AOPD rooms have luxurious king sized beds (with provision to upgrade to a triple) and expansive tempered glass balconies overlooking the Indian ocean. There is a lounge area with a fully stocked mini bar, 3-seater sofa, ottomans and a coffee table. The entertainment system consists of Bose Sound Dock (optional), WIFI Internet access, 32 inch LCD TV with full cable channel access and a DVD player.
Aqua Zen (AZ)
AZ has adopted the quirkiest personality at CA. Taking on a predominantly white color palate, which is punctuated by outrageous pop art features. AZ showcases ash stained oak floors and a mezzanine, the focal point of which is a bed recessed in the center, mimicking authentic Zen inspired architecture. The foyer area has ample lounge space (that can comfortably seat 6 guests) with custom couches, WIFI Internet access, a fully-fledged entertainment system (inclusive of a sound dock, 32 inch LCD TV, cable and a DVD player) and a private bar to amuse guests any time. With tempered glass balconies framing the best of the south coast sunsets-it is tranquility in its most fashionable state.
Aqua Chic and Ultra Chic (AUC)
Aqua Chic rooms are the villa’s suites. These suites aptly encapsulate the complete Aqua experience. Chic white wooden floors complemented by opulent white linen king sized beds automatically immolate a scene of decadence. AC rooms have private infinity Jacuzzis fenced in by a tempered glass balcony that overlooks the bay. The spacious bathroom and vanity sections have stylish his and her sinks and bathtubs that sport a sea view. An intelligent and LED lighting system customizes the desired ambiance that can range from ambient to disco-esque. The lounge areas are equipped with a fully stocked mini bar, 42 inch LCD TVs, Bose sound docks with preloaded play lists and swanky sofas, which create the perfect entertainment enclave. Aqua ULTRA CHIC is a larger room featuring a private bar, which can be stocked on request.
Rates are per room, including breakfast. It is possible to book a room with half board or full board.
NOTES:
During the peak season (Dec-Jan, Mar - Apr, July-Aug) Cantaloupe AQUA hosts numerous sun set cocktails and Brunch Parties with an upbeat atmosphere. In keeping with our relaxing weekdays and Upbeat weekends; Cantaloupe AQUA is not recommended for guests looking for 100% relaxation. The parties however do not go on much later than mid-night. All guests are given free access pass to the event. During quieter months of the year Cantaloupe is the prefect retreat for families with kids and Guests looking for ultimate relaxation.
